ADD PHOTOGRAPHIC TEXTURE TO ACCURATE SCAN GEOMETRY


BlueStar Mapping is designed to apply high-resolution photographic texture to 3D scanned geometry. A mesh provides the measured shape while photos captured with a smartphone or DSLR supply the surface colour, markings and visual detail.


The workflow aligns and blends photographs across the model, with tools for seam control, colour balancing and texture refinement. It is useful for cultural heritage, visualization, VR, e-commerce and digital-content workflows where the appearance of the physical object matters as much as its geometry.
