The FreeScan UE Nova is built around flexibility. Its three selectable fields of view allow users to choose the right balance of speed, coverage, and detail for each project. The larger field of view helps capture more surface area per pass on medium and large components, while smaller fields of view allow users to work more effectively on detailed features and smaller geometry.
For larger-part measurement, the UE Nova includes Video Photogrammetry. Using the scanner’s built-in cameras together with a coded scale bar, VPG helps establish a more accurate reference before scanning, improving volumetric accuracy without requiring a separate traditional photogrammetry workflow.
The long-term value of the UE Nova is its ability to grow into the FreeScan Trak Nova Dynamic Tracking System. Instead of replacing the scanner, the UE Nova becomes the tracking unit in the Trak Nova system, adding Dynamic Tracking capabilities and expanding the platform into a complete large-volume metrology solution.
