The FreeScan Omni Series is built around the idea that 3D scanning should not always require a separate inspection workstation before useful decisions can be made. With onboard computing, wireless operation, and integrated inspection tools, users can scan, inspect, and generate reports directly on the scanner for many common quality control workflows.
At its core, the Omni remains a metrology-grade laser scanner for dimensional inspection, reverse engineering, and manufacturing support. Blue laser scanning provides the accuracy, repeatability, and detail required for precision measurement, while infrared structured light adds a markerless workflow for suitable feature-rich applications.
The Omni Series also supports advanced modules such as Video Photogrammetry and AI Feature Recognition to support larger-part measurement and specific inspection workflows including sheet metal, punched features, slots, trim edges, and other common manufacturing geometry.
