3DXpert

Integrated Additive Manufacturing Software

Design, prepare, simulate and optimize additive manufacturing jobs in one CAD-based engineering environment.

CONNECT DESIGN AND BUILD PREPARATION IN ONE ENVIRONMENT

3DXpert is an integrated additive manufacturing environment for DfAM, build preparation, process simulation, slicing and inspection. Its CAD-based core works with solids and surfaces alongside mesh, lattice and implicit geometry, reducing repeated conversion between separate design and preparation applications.

This is particularly useful when part design and manufacturability need to be developed together. Engineers can modify geometry, create lattices and internal structures, generate supports, arrange builds, simulate metal powder-bed processes, compensate predicted distortion and prepare machine-ready jobs while keeping the workflow connected to the engineering model.

KEEP DESIGN DECISIONS CONNECTED TO THE BUILD

Orientation, supports, thermal behaviour, scan strategy and part geometry can influence one another in additive manufacturing. 3DXpert keeps these decisions in one environment so changes made during design or build preparation can remain connected to the engineering model.

  • Design for additive: work with CAD, lattice and implicit geometry while developing manufacturable features and internal structures.
  • Prepare and evaluate the build: orient parts, generate supports, arrange jobs, simulate metal powder-bed behaviour and compensate predicted distortion.
  • Standardize production methods: reuse scripts and preparation strategies across recurring jobs, printer configurations and materials.
