Full colour binder jetting is used to produce highly detailed, full-colour parts directly from digital models, combining geometry and colour information into a single printed component.

These systems are best suited for applications where visual quality, colour accuracy, and detail are critical, including:
-
Architectural models
-
Product visualization and concept models
-
Educational and training models
-
Museum displays and cultural preservation
-
Figurines, replicas, and display pieces
Unlike traditional monochrome additive processes, full colour binder jetting enables parts to be produced with integrated colour, eliminating the need for painting or secondary finishing.

Compared to resin-based colour systems, binder jetting offers significantly faster build speeds and more efficient material usage, making it well suited for larger parts, batch production, and applications where throughput and operating cost are important considerations.
In addition to visual applications, the porous nature of binder jet parts allows them to be used in certain secondary processes, such as thermoforming tooling, where permeability can be beneficial depending on the application.
System Overview
This system has been developed in collaboration with EasyMFG, combining their expertise in binder jetting with our application-driven requirements and experience in full-colour printing workflows.

The platform is designed to address the gap left by legacy systems such as the ProJet CJP 660Pro, with a focus on improved reliability, modern system architecture, and long-term serviceability.

Key design considerations include:
-
Robust mechanical design for improved stability and reliability
-
Reduced maintenance requirements compared to legacy systems
-
Piezoelectric printheads, eliminating consumable printhead limitations
-
Modernized workflow and system architecture
-
This system is based on proven binder jetting technology, adapted and refined to meet the needs of current full-colour printing applications.
