Printing the Green Part Is Only Part of the Process


Metal binder jetting deposits binder selectively into a powder bed to create a green part, followed by depowdering and sintering to reach final material properties. Because printing does not use a laser to melt each cross-section, the process can build many parts in a batch and does not require printed support structures in the same way as fusion-based processes.


The practical workflow depends on more than printer speed. Powder characteristics, green-part handling, debinding where required, sintering behaviour, shrink compensation, furnace capacity, and part packing all influence production. CAMS looks at that complete chain when matching an EasyMFG platform to R&D, process development, or production work.
