ORGANIC DESIGN WITH ENGINEERING CONTROL
Geomagic Freeform is a 3D design environment for organic, sculpted and highly irregular geometry. It combines digital clay with mesh, SubD, surface and solid modelling, and can add haptic input so the designer can feel resistance while shaping the model.
The same environment can also control dimensions, wall thickness, draft and manufacturing interfaces. This makes Freeform useful for patient-specific devices, orthotics and prosthetics, toys and collectibles, consumer products, mould and die work, and other designs where freeform shape still has to become a manufacturable part.

REPEATABLE CUSTOMIZATION WITHOUT LOSING LOCAL CONTROL
Many Freeform workflows start from a scan, template or existing design and end with a family of individualized parts. Patient-specific devices, orthotics, prosthetics, custom product forms and sculpted variants all benefit from reusing the common setup while keeping local geometry easy to reshape.
Automation can handle recurring preparation steps, while optional haptic input gives the designer tactile control where blending, trimming or shaping by feel improves the workflow. That combination is useful when every part is related, but not identical.
