Einscan Medixa

All-in-One 3D Scanning for O&P Care

The EinScan Medixa is a wireless all-in-one 3D scanner designed specifically for orthotics and prosthetics workflows. Built for clinical environments, Medixa helps O&P professionals capture patient anatomy quickly, cleanly, and comfortably using a fully digital, contact-free scanning process.

Unlike general-purpose scanners that require more setup or technical handling, the EinScan Medixa is focused on making patient scanning practical for clinical use. With onboard processing, scan presets, and a simplified step-by-step workflow, clinicians can scan without relying on an external computer during capture, helping reduce complexity while improving patient experience and clinic efficiency.

OVERVIEW

Designed Around the O&P Workflow

The EinScan Medixa is built to support the realities of orthotics and prosthetics care. Traditional casting and manual impression methods can be messy, time-consuming, and uncomfortable for patients. Medixa provides a digital alternative that allows clinicians to capture accurate 3D body data using a cleaner, faster, and more comfortable process.

The scanner includes pre-configured scan presets for common O&P applications, including cranial, face, torso, upper limb, lower limb, foot, socket, seating, and foam box workflows. Clinicians can also adjust scan parameters to support specific clinical needs and personalized device creation.

Because Medixa is wireless and all-in-one, the scanning workflow can remain focused on the patient rather than the equipment setup. Movement compensation helps reduce issues caused by slight patient movement, while colour texture capture can preserve markings or surface references used during clinical design and fabrication workflows.

Why Choose the EinScan Medixa?

Designed specifically for orthotics and prosthetics rather than general-purpose scanning alone.
Wireless all-in-one workflow keeps scanning simple and practical in clinical environments.
Onboard processing eliminates the need for an external computer during patient scanning.
Pre-configured O&P scan presets support cranial, face, torso, limb, foot, socket, seating, and foam box workflows.
Contact-free digital capture provides a cleaner and more comfortable alternative to traditional casting.
Movement compensation helps improve scanning results when patients move slightly during capture.
Digital records and colour texture capture support documentation, follow-up care, and design workflows.
FootStation 2 compatibility supports efficient foot scanning when paired with the optional accessory.

Example Applications

The EinScan Medixa can support a wide range of orthotics, prosthetics, and clinical scanning workflows. Common examples include:

• Orthotic and prosthetic patient anatomy capture
• Sockets, braces, supports, helmets, and custom clinical devices
• Cranial, torso, limb, foot, seating, and foam box workflows
• Digital patient records and follow-up documentation
• Clinical design, modification, and fabrication workflows
• Cleaner alternatives to casting and manual impressions
